My first skirt. All finished! Just in time for the end of the month.
McCall’s 3830 is really was a “quick & easy” pattern. I made it too complicated by fussing with the fit. Now that I have it figured out, any future skirts will be a weekend project.
Skills Practiced:
- Adjusting pattern (let out front darts, and brought in the waist)
- Adding a lining.
- Blind hem
- zippers – UGH! I really need more practice.
Now on to March!!
