The List

March 10, 2011 by Jodi 2 Comments

Three more weeks until my due date, and the pressure is on to get everything crossed off “The List.” By “The List” I mean “The List of Things That Need to Be Done Before Life As I Know It is Over”.  It’s an ambitious list, and I probably can’t pull it all off, but I am certainly giving it my best shot.

One item on The List is to post a new tutorial by the end of March.  I spent my day today cutting, sewing, and taking pictures of the various steps. It will allow me to type up the tutorial in the evenings when I am too tired to move.

I finished up the slip for the baptismal gown yesterday.  That leaves just the bonnet and Project: Baptism Gown will be complete!

I feel like such a ticking time bomb…

that birth info for mom item looks cool to me.
Now, you know babies come ready or not. If you are not ready, somehow enough was done in time. If your sister and mom help you finish up the baptismal or help you watch the kids so you can, would that be so terrible? If the cupboard goes uncleaned until 2013 -so be it.

Sew Fearless is about a reckless pursuit of the sewing craft. It is about not letting your fears talk you out of your dreams. It is a place to go for encouragement, information, and sewing camaraderie. It’s a place where “done” is better than “perfect”, and where saying “I didn’t try” is worse than “I failed”. Read More…
