Social (Media) Sewing

This picture has nothing to do with this blog post.

As I have mentioned before, I have really been enjoying twitter for connecting with other sewing enthusiasts.  They are a supportive and spunky bunch. I’ve especially been enjoying the “company” of the quilters who attend the #gdas (Friday evenings) and #talknt (Tuesday, 9-11pm EST) weekly tweet chats.

I know that not everyone is as excited about this Twitter stuff as I am, so I am branching out the sewing party over to a Facebook fan page.  Over there, I am sharing some of the fun sewing links I come across, project updates, and I hope that you lovely readers will share your sewing questions and triumphs as well. So head on over to Sew Fearless on Facebook through this link, or click “like” over on the sidebar –>.

(P.S. I am also testing out the waters over on Google+.  If you are over there, look me up and I will add you to my “sewing” circle.)

This internet thing doesn’t seem to be a fad. Who know? 😉

      I’m ridiculously excited too.

Sew Fearless is about a reckless pursuit of the sewing craft. It is about not letting your fears talk you out of your dreams. It is a place to go for encouragement, information, and sewing camaraderie. It’s a place where “done” is better than “perfect”, and where saying “I didn’t try” is worse than “I failed”. Read More…
