Advent: The time when craft blogs everywhere go silent.
Except that I can’t stop myself from giving some sneak peaks of the goodies I’m working on. These “Log Cabin” blocks are not destined for a quilt, but they just might convince me to make one in the future. They are crazy easy. Just make sure you set up your sewing space with an ironing board and cutting mat within arms reach of your sewing machine as you will be switching between them with every seam.
How are your Christmas preparations coming?
Oooo, ooo! I want to know who the lucky person or room is! 🙂
My crafting is going well because I started in September! And I am trying to keep the number of projects down. Wish I had time to do all the ideas I have though.

Found your blog tag surfing in WordPress. To answer your question: I’m SO behind. Thanks for asking, lol! 🙂 I love these fabrics you’re using though! Wonderful blocks!
Those blocks are beautiful! What were you planning to do with them? I’m totally wanting to ditch my blog until after Christmas so I can enjoy more sewing and playing time… maybe I will. Now you’ve got me thinking…
I can’t divulge because the recipient reads this blog. 🙂
Glad my blog isn’t the only one that’s “gone silent.” 🙂 happy Advent!

I am so there with WANTING to be a good quilter/sewer but spend more time looking at quilting magazines etc.! I love the blocks you have posted. I can’t wait to see the finished project especially the car/road blocks.
I am inspired! I am also left handed and that adds to the difficulty of living in a right handed crafting world!
That is interesting – the left handed-ness in a right handed crafting world. What is hard to do?
Cutting fabric, having instructors turn you fabric pieces the wrong way because they are looking at it from a right handed perspective(which can be helped by the right handed person standing across from the left handed person so the left handed person ‘mirrors’ the step but it is the opposite way.)
Instructions only being shown for right handed people(there are some that also show a lefthanded picture or method) which is like a breath of fresh air.
I have a tendency to do things right to left, rather than left to right and often find myself leafing through a magazine starting from the back cover. Go figure!
