Oh My Gosh. I had so much fun browsing through all of your Pajama Eater photos this afternoon! You certainly were an industrious bunch this holiday season!
I especially love the creativity of those who took the classic version of the Pajama Eater and made it their own.
There were owls…

monkeys, frogs, and ninjas!
Many of you thought that the monsters needed more girl appeal.
So, you added buttons and bows…
… and froo-froo eyelashes.
And, oh, the quantity! You really cranked them out!
Especially, Cindy (above, first), Pam (above, second) and Stacy (below). Stacy, I think I counted NINE in all your pictures! Am I right? (posted to Facebook)
There were more than these. So, be sure to check out all the adorable monsters in the new Pajama Eater Flickr group (as well as on the Sew Fearless Fan Page).
Keep it up, you, Fearless Sewists, you!
love it! I’ve been wanting to make these for ages – got the pattern when it was still free and have gotten fabric out for it a half a dozen times – but not sure if I wanted “monster” now I feel inspired! I love the monkey version and maybe ninjas for myself and my husband!
The monkey and ninja are awesome! I think if I make them more, I’ll definitely do some ninjas!
I really need to get pictures of the ones I made the boys for Christmas. They love them! They don’t actually use them for the their jammies though. My oldest has been using it for a sleeping bag for his smurf.
Yep Jodi, I made 9! I had some late nights getting those done by Christmas. My goal was actually 11, but my boys don’t have theirs yet. Soon, very soon! 🙂 By the way, my sister-in-law posted a picture of facebook with her four children holding their pj eaters…she says they absolutely love them! That made it all worth the late nights. 🙂
Jodi- you have started an awesome thing here 🙂 I am going to get the pattern one of these days and make them for some munchkins… and maybe myself too. And I’m pretty sure every dog needs one for their toys… or something 🙂
It has been really fun to watch grow, Reenie! 🙂 And I have heard of a couple people making them to hold things like remotes.
Jodi, thanks SO much for including my PJ Eaters in your round up. I really enjoyed browsing through the flickr groug, too! Creativity is an amazing thing. I’m starting on a batch of Ninjas today for my etsy shop. I’ll be adding monkeys, a few dinosaurs, and maybe some owls (Loooove those!) Thanks again for sharing your awesome pattern and spreading crafty inspiration!
I LOVE these pajama eater pillows. I usually make my nieces and nephew gifts for christmas every year. But, due to me being a full time student and working 2 jobs I am unable to this year. I am very sad that I’m not going to be able to. I still want to get them a cool one of a kind gift. So, with all that being said, do you sale these or would you be willing to? I have 3 nieces and a nephew. If so, please contact me with prices and any other information. If not, oh well, I’ll come up with something else. 🙂
Hallie, I am very busy too, but there a number of independent shops selling them on etsy.
