IT’S FINALLY HERE!
I posted it to my e-junkie shop yesterday!
The Sidekick Mini Suitcase!
It was a long time in coming (4 months-ish?), but I think it was worth it. This $10 ePattern includes gorgeous full-sized printable pattern pieces, 16 pages of instructions, and has been rigorously tested and reviewed by some amazing sewists.
To celebrate the release of the pattern, I would like to announce a giveaway, a discount, and a sew-along!
A GIVEAWAY!
Later this week, I will be sharing some photos from our pattern testers and hosting a giveaway of 5 Sidekick Suitcase Patterns. The drawing is to be held March 1st.
Sew Fearless Give Away Guarantee : If you buy the Sidekick Mini Suitcase Pattern in 2012 and later that year win the pattern in a giveaway, I will refund you the purchase price. So don’t wait to see if you can win it! Get your hands on the pattern today!
A DISCOUNT!
I know there is a number of you who have been anxiously awaiting its release, so as a reward for my faithful followers, I am offering $4 off the $10 pattern price for the rest of February.
Sew Fearless Facebook fans can find the coupon code hidden in under the “only likers” tab on the Sew Fearless fan page.
Not on Facebook? Current email subscribers will find the coupon code at the beginning of this post, and I’ll be sharing the discount code in the next post as well.
(I can’t offer a special code to RSS subscribers at this time. Sorry!)
A SEW-ALONG
I’ve made three suitcases so far, and I have four kids. See a problem here? Who’s up for a suitcase sew-along in March? We can walk through the pattern together. I’ll give tips and answer questions along the way.
The pattern looks great! I can’t wait to give it a try! And I was wondering if you would do a sew along!!!! YES I AM IN!!!
Nice work, Jodi!
Ps. $10 is a steal. 🙂
Thanks, Meg. I look forward to sewing a suitcase with you!
Jodi it look like a great pattern. I haven’t printed it out yet, I’ll have to wait till next week to sew one.
Thanks for such a great pattern.
Natalie
I’ll be moving this weekend, but I’m sure I’ll be all settled in by March to participate in the sew along! Woot woot!
Thanks Jodi for the new PDF I was wondering about the PJ eater, But thought nothing of it.
These are so great! I am pretty sure my niece just MUST have one.
This looks fantastic!!! Congratulations on finishing your pattern. The pockets on the inside look ace, too.
Hurray! It’s darling!
Oh, I’d definitely be up for a sew along for this. Hopefully I’ll have my sewing space set up by then so I won’t have to work on it at the kitchen table. 😉
Would LOVE a sew-along!! Keep us posted via Facebook, if you would!!
Thanks,
Jill
These are so adorable. I want the pattern.
Congratulations!!
Jodi,
A sew-a-long is a great idea! I’ve already bought all the materials so I’m ready when you are.
Fantastic! I’m hoping to get started in March. More details later this week.
Jodi,
I have a couple of questions..after printing the pattern pieces do I line up the pattern pieces or overlap the letter/triangle area? Also, I didn’t see the discount offer until today, how can I cash in on that deal?
Great question. Cut out the 4 partial pieces that make up the Front/Back. Then line up with the triangles “pointing” at each other. Don’t overlap.
And shoot me an email with your receipt and I will investigate what I can do about the discount. 🙂
