Project Piles

November 30, 2010 by Jodi Leave a Comment

I’m very slowly plugging away at my Christmas project list.  How is yours doing?  I have to admit I’m doing more complaining and worrying than doing.  I really can’t believe how busy my life has become! And how tiring the “easy second trimester” can be.  I did finally get done with my November clothing project, but it won’t be posted until later this week.  My husband has a few long days of work ahead of him and it will be hard to snag him for a photo shoot.

Despite the length of my Christmas list, I couldn’t resist the Joann’s Black Friday sales and decided to make bathrobes for the kids for Christmas.  They will be instead of “Christmas jammies”, or in addition to them, depending on how quickly I turn them out.  I had a lot of fun choosing the fleece according to their personalities – puppies for Matthias, butterflies for Gianna, and little monsters (my favorite of the three) for Duncan.

Good luck with your Christmas projects!

Sew Fearless is about a reckless pursuit of the sewing craft. It is about not letting your fears talk you out of your dreams. It is a place to go for encouragement, information, and sewing camaraderie. It’s a place where “done” is better than “perfect”, and where saying “I didn’t try” is worse than “I failed”. Read More…
