And the winners are…

March 1, 2012 by Jodi 3 Comments

It’s March 1st! That means it’s time to choose winners for the Sidekick Suitcase Pattern Giveaway!

The details: I used Random.org to choose five ‘comment id numbers’ between the first id number, 2388, and the last, 2506. For the couple of times the number generated was in the spam folder or on a different post, I drew another number. The results are as follows.

#1: kaitui_kiwi

#2: Auri

#3: Staci

#4: Jenny

#5: Shelby

Check your inboxes, ladies! And thank you all for entering!

In other news, it sounds like the suitcase sew-along is a go! I’m thinking we will start next week with gathering materials and cutting out our pieces.

How fast would you like the sew-along to go? Finished by the end of March? Or a faster pace?

I want the sew along. Even though I don’t know if I will be able to partecipate it will be useful to see every passage, I’m kind of an “advances beginner” and it looks like an ambitious project but I’m definetely buying the pattern lately next week and doing it for my daughter. Is there any particular material I might find difficult to find here in Italy? (just to give you an idea I can’t find a lot of things in here :o) but I love to buy online)

I really don’t know. All the materials needed are listed on the pattern page. https://sewfearless.com/patterns-and-tutorials/the-sidekick-suitcase-pattern/

Sew Fearless is about a reckless pursuit of the sewing craft. It is about not letting your fears talk you out of your dreams. It is a place to go for encouragement, information, and sewing camaraderie. It’s a place where “done” is better than “perfect”, and where saying “I didn’t try” is worse than “I failed”. Read More…
