Pattern Testing!

February 19, 2013 by Jodi 14 Comments

Floral Mommy's Poppins Bag (Pattern coming soon!) - sewfearless.com

Because of a delayed hardware shipment, I had all but given up hope in getting the Mommy’s Poppins Bag pattern out Before Baby. The cornerstone of this project is the lovely 14 inch purse frame and I couldn’t get the pattern tested without hardware for my testers! And there is no WAY I would want to release an untested pattern. So frustrating, but….

MY SHIPMENT CAME YESTERDAY!!!!!

Which means I in search of a few testers! Interested in helping out?

–>Click this link and let me know by filling out this (super teeny quick) survey.<–

EDIT: I’ve received more than enough responses! Thank you so much!!!

In other news, I am also working out details with a fabulous highly-rated Etsy shop who is wants to supply Mommy’s Poppins Bag hardware kits – the purse frame, high quality d-rings and clasps all bundled together for your convenience. As an added bonus, you will get speedy domestic shipping instead of the frustratingly pokey international shipping I have been cursing this last month. I’ll let you know when her shop is ready to take orders!

Sew Exciting!

Looks great, I would love to be a pattern tester next time. I can totally understand the problems with mail coming to Canada. You never know when it will be caught up in customs.

Look forward to seeing the new pattern, and of course buying the pattern when it is ready.

Darn! I would have applied but I missed it. Any chance you could share how much fabric you will need for the exterior and interior of the bag? I’v been on the lookout for the fabric I want when the pattern is released and I want to buy the fabric now rather than risk it being discontinued.

1 1/2 yards of 45″ weide fabric for the main fabric, 1 yard of 45″ wide for accent, and 1 1/2 yards for the lining fabric.

      🙂

In love with this BAG!! I have enough strollers and diaper bags for an army. There isn’t one out there that fits the bill.

I can’t wait for the pattern.

Found the photo on Pinterest. Amazing Blog!

Look forward to more info re your partnership with the etsy seller for the pattern and hardwares. I’d love to make one for my mom’s birthday in July. And my aunties, and myself too! LOL

Well it has been a few months now… Is the pattern and the hardware for sale yet?
Would like to make this as my knitting bag.
