I think I’m going to make these “Blog Crush” posts a thing. They are just so many amazing seamstresses out there, but some are particularly inspiring for their fearlessness or love of the craft. I would like to celebrate those bloggers and share them with you. I hope you will send me links to some of your favorites! But today, I want to quickly highlight Sally of “the quirky peach”.

My favorite thing about Sally’s blog is how her enthusiasm for learning garment sewing bubbles out of her writing and all through her photos. What’s with all the sour-faced or demure fashion shots these days? Sewing is a fun hobby! And by the looks of it, Sally is having fun!
Not to mention, she is 6 foot (Tall Woman Fist Bump!) and can relate to my pear-shaped fitting woes. Also, I enjoy her taste in fabrics and eye for flattering patterns.

So what are you waiting for? Get on over to The Quirky Peach and meet Sally!
I love this idea! So cool that she’s 6′ tall! YAY tall club!!! 😀
I love finding out about new (well, new to me, anyway!) and different sewing blogs – Thanks!
That’s my sister! Thanks for recognizing her talent, she has made some incredible pieces these past few years and really does encompass passion for the craft. PLUS she’s super quirky 🙂
