Ernest

Ernest

It’s taken me two months to get around to officially announcing the birth of little Ernest. He certainly took his sweet time arriving and he was finally evicted on July 23rd. This little man is such a handsome mellow baby, and he is fitting in with the rest of the crew just fine.

As for me, I have been relishing not bouncing back quickly. Yes, my physical recovery went very well (especially for having birthed a 10 pound 13.6 ounce baby), but I have been taking things slow, just treading water with my home responsibilities, and being patient with this season.

I have been sewing a little here and there, in 10 or 15 minute spurts, as baby allows. I’m working on lovely blouse for myself and a ring sling for my sister-in-law. I’ll post about them when they are finished, but I have been sharing my progress on Instagram if you are over there.

Thank you all for your well-wishes and prayers!

God bless.

Sew Fearless is about a reckless pursuit of the sewing craft. It is about not letting your fears talk you out of your dreams. It is a place to go for encouragement, information, and sewing camaraderie. It’s a place where “done” is better than “perfect”, and where saying “I didn’t try” is worse than “I failed”. Read More…
