Wedding Weekend

October 18, 2010 by Jodi 4 Comments

PHEW! What a weekend! It was wonderful to visit with so much family – nieces, in-laws, a new nephew, cousins, aunts, and uncles.  The wedding was gorgeous and my kids behaved reasonable well.  I also received on of the bests compliments of my life.  After getting dressed and putting my hair up with a fabric flower clip for the wedding day, I walked into the kitchen.  My niece looked up at me and gasped.  “You are SO gorgeous!”  🙂 It doesn’t get better than that, folks.

We finally drove back home today.  This picture kind of sums up how we felt at the end of it all.  Exhausted and stuffed full of fast food.

(Yes, I did pry the nugget out of her mouth after taking this picture. What kind of parent do you take me for? Oh, and, a word of advice. Don’t put your finger between your child’s molars while they are sleeping.  OUCH!!!!)

The flower is gorgeous- wish we could see the rest of beautiful you 🙂 And there’s nothing quite so great as a genuine compliment. Love the nugget pic. I feel like that a lot lately 🙂

Unfortunately, there weren’t very many pictures taken, because my husband was too busy “ushing” and I was busy with the kids. Trust me. It was all very lovely. 🙂 I hope my sister-in-law posts her professional pictures soon.

Awesome 🙂 I don’t think I’ve ever caught my kids sleeping with a nugget in their mouth, but I’m so glad you got a picture! Priceless! Glad you had a great time! And I’m loving all the butterflies lately… great projects!
